UTEP 1980's "Miner Magic" Tee
To celebrate the UTEP programs of the 1980’s, we recreated this ‘80s vintage “Miner Magic” mark. “Miner Magic” evokes some of UTEP’s great moments from the decade, including Miner football in 1988. After almost two decades without a bowl invitation (and a 26-123 record from 1975 to 1987), Bob Stull coached UTEP to a 10-2 season and an Independence Bowl bid. Their admirable second place finish in the Western was a testament to the turnaround Stull helped facilitate for the Miners.
