USC Trojans 1970s Logo Two-Tone Dad Hat
This logo was USC’s primary athletic logo from 1976 to 1983. Beyond the many victories it saw, it was in use when the Trojan Marching Band caught the attention of legendary band Fleetwood Mac. They recorded with the band in Dodger Stadium for their 1979 song “Tusk,” and the 112-piece Spirit of Troy band set a record for the highest number of musicians performing on one single.
